The Board of Directors at Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation currently consists of seven members. Their purpose is to act as best to promote the interest of the corporation and its shareholders. The Board appoints committees of the Board, determine their mandates, and select their members and chairperson. The Board oversees the integrity of internal controls and management information systems. Each member serves a one-year term, until the annual meeting of shareholders where an election is held. The Board holds meetings on the third Monday of every month.
